What Students Will Learn
The program is divided into four structured modules, tailored for ages 7–12.
1. Fundamentals of Good Manners
What & Why | Critical Thinking | Decision Making | Table Manners
Students explore what good manners are - and why they matter.
Through activities and guided discussion, they learn to:
• Show respect at home, school, and in public
• Make thoughtful, considerate decisions
• Practice everyday courtesy toward adults and peers
• Use proper table manners in real dining settings
A chef's 3-course meal is included, allowing students to practice etiquette while they dine.
2. Social Etiquette
Conversational Skills | Emotional Management | Improv & Role Play
This module focuses on building positive social connections.
Students learn:
• How to start and maintain friendly conversations
• What to say when meeting new people
• How to manage big feelings in social situations
• How to handle awkward or challenging moments politely
Through improv and role play, etiquette concepts are brought to life in a fun, memorable way.
3. Appearance & Posture
Physical Presentation | Stretching & Posture | Body Language
First impressions matter, and this module helps students understand how presentation impacts how they are perceived.
They discover:
• How body language shapes others’ impressions
• Simple ways to stand, sit, and walk with confidence
• How to present themselves with care and self-respect
Stretching and posture exercises keep this session active and engaging.
4. Gratitude & Graduation
Appreciation | Hosting | Graduation
The final module brings everything together.
Students practice:
• Expressing gratitude and appreciation
• Demonstrating the basics of being a thoughtful host or guest
• Showcasing what they’ve learned through activities and a special celebration
The course concludes with a graduation experience that recognizes each student’s growth and achievement.
A Dining Experience They’ll Remember
Each class features a chef-inspired, three-course meal, with rotating selections of:

• Proteins
• Vegetables
• Pasta
• Desserts
Students apply their table manners and dining etiquette in a relaxed, real-world setting.
Learning Comes to Life with Drama Club
To make learning even more dynamic, the Manners Matter Drama Club joins the first three courses, turning lessons into interactive, theatrical experiences.
Students act out real-life scenarios, practicing how to respond with kindness, confidence, and respect - while enjoying an energetic, creative environment.
