Participate in the Strides for Pride event, a 5K run/walk accompanied by a 1M fun run/walk, scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the RAM space in Northbank Riverwalk Artist Square. The event aims to support LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults at JASMYN, a longstanding safe space in the Five Points neighborhood. Registration offers tiered pricing, including Early Bird Specials available until race day. Expect a vibrant mini-Pride celebration welcoming all community members for a morning of family-friendly festivities and rainbow-filled fun. Every participant receives a race shirt during Packet Pick-Up, with bibbed finishers earning a medal, and the first 150 chipped 5K runners crossing the finish line receiving a limited edition Strides '24 hat. Additionally, JASMYN will recognize achievements such as Largest Running Team, Best Individual Fundraiser, and Largest GSA Running Team, adding further excitement to the event.
