At MOSH, a monthly evening event is designed to create a sensory-friendly environment for families seeking a lower-stimulus experience. During these hours, the museum minimizes sounds and lighting features of the exhibits. A Sensory Space, staffed by We Rock the Spectrum, is set up in Classroom 1 on the first floor to offer additional support. Various vendors and service providers are also available to share information about their products and services. Sensory support kits, including activities, fidgets, and headphones, are available for temporary loan at the Front Desk, courtesy of the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
