On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the Museum of Science and History in Jacksonville runs a kids workshop where children can try hands on science experiments, explore interactive exhibits, and watch short demonstrations that show how things work. Expect some messy mixing, lots of questions, and a few proud I did that faces.

The activities lean toward playful tinkering and clear explanations rather than textbook lectures, so curiosity gets rewarded more than quiz scores. It's the kind of afternoon where learning happens by doing, and where goggles are probably a good idea if your child likes to experiment.
