MOSH Molecules, the Museum of Science & History's renowned early childhood program, offers an exciting opportunity for youngsters aged 3, 4, and 5 to delve into STEM-based learning while making cherished memories in a secure environment. These one-hour lessons are available on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m., spread over a month, allowing children to build on what they've learned in previous sessions. Although it's not mandatory to register for the full four-lesson month, doing so is recommended for a comprehensive educational experience. The registration fee, which covers both the guardian and child and includes general museum admission, is $24.50. The current theme, "The Motion of the Ocean," explores the concept of the ocean, its influence on Northeast Florida, the diverse marine life it hosts, and their survival strategies. Participants will create models of ocean habitats, study wave formation and water movement, and engage in hands-on activities to investigate the adaptations and traits of oceanic creatures.
