Explore the wonders of stargazing with the Northeast Florida Astronomical Society (NEFAS) at the Museum of Science and History (MOSH) on Saturday, November 12, from 12 to 4 p.m. This special event is designed to guide both seasoned astronomers and newcomers in choosing an entry-level telescope, making it an ideal holiday gift. The demonstration will include tabletop displays, valuable information, and advice on telescope selection. At 1:15, head to the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium for a presentation that delves into the basics of purchasing a beginner telescope as well as showcasing NEFAS's work. To attend the free telescope demonstration, simply purchase a general admission ticket and make your way to the Space Science Gallery on the museum's second floor.
