ZooLights is lighting up Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens again, draping the whole place in over a million twinkly bulbs and glowing animal sculptures that make the critters look like they partied too hard. You can wander the paths with holiday tunes bouncing around, snag seasonal snacks, and warm your hands on hot cocoa while the kids stare slack-jawed at the rainbow explosion.

It kicks off around 6pm and wraps by 10pm most nights, so plan accordingly unless you want to test the zoo's nocturnal wildlife. Tickets get you in the gate, with breaks for kids and members, because nothing says holidays like paying to freeze in festive style.
