So, if you're around Palm Coast on November 1, 2024, get ready to lace up those walking shoes. It's Walk time at 4 p.m. at the Lehigh Trailhead, which is conveniently located at 1350 Belle Terre Parkway. This event is a team effort brought to you by the city, Flagler County Government, those River to Sea planning folks, and the Florida Department of Transportation. Think of it as a casual stroll with a side of community bonding—perfect for the whole family, especially if you've ever wanted to discuss the fine art of walking and biking while getting some fresh air.

Now, to sweeten the deal, the TPO is throwing in free bicycle helmets and fittings. No need to panic if your helmet's more like a designer paperweight than a safety accessory—grab a fitting while you're there. With over 130 miles of trails in Palm Coast, you'll have plenty of paths to explore and topics to chew over regarding how to make our walking and biking experience even better. So come on out, enjoy some time on foot or on wheels, and maybe even realize that walking doesn't have to be just a way to get to the fridge.
