In this unique cultural experience called Sip-N-Parol, attendees can join MOSH for a special event where they'll learn to craft parols, exquisite Filipino ornamental lanterns traditionally displayed during the Christmas season. Expert guidance will be provided by partners from Jax Filipinos (School of Language and Culture), ensuring participants create beautiful ornaments to take home. The event includes all necessary materials, along with light refreshments (including lumpia!) and two drink tickets for wine or beer (soft drinks available for those under 21). The minimum age for participation is 15 years old, and larger completed parols will also be available for purchase. This event is part of the MOSH Passport Series, which focuses on celebrating and educating people about the diverse cultures found in Northeast Florida.
